Closet Cousins

Since JesusIsMyGrandpappy.com first hit the web early in 2006 I've heard from many people who believe they are or may be cousins of mine.  That is, also grandchildren of Christ. Smile  I know there is enough interest and curiosity regarding this topic to generate quite a bit of discussion.  The only question is, will those who have questions or claims overcome their apprehension in exposing themselves? Of course, nobody is going to be exposed here.  I'm not selling lists of the site's registered users or the IP addresses of the folks who choose to remain anonymous.  But I realize that it can still be unsettling for a person to reveal something about themselves that they usually hold back out of fear of reprisals from others, including (and perhaps especially) family members.  But, rest assured; I intend to make this site a safe place for people to share their thoughts and feelings about things.  So I hope all you cousins out there will take the plunge and get to know each other.  I know you'll be glad you did.  I shouldn't be the only one who gets to meet all you fine people! Smile

So please... post away!

to all of the "cousins" out there

Hello, I first got a hold of the Da Vinci Code before it became famous and thought  good story, but no way is it the truth. Then a couple of days later my grandmother started talking about one of her neices up in Washington State who was heavy into geneology and had done our families, tracing it back to the first century ad/bc. I was getting a masters in history and anthropology before an injury made me quit school for a time, and I thought, no way, how would someone trace the familiy back that far. I was thinking about things like the dark ages. When I saw the geneology, I just about flipped. It almost mirrored that wrote about inf the Da Vinci Code - the one the girl- Sophie was from. The family tree was real, there was an American  branch, and that branch was us, our family. We were related to every Merovingn King there ever was, and the line continued right through to Charlamenage - who by the way married Mervingian female royalty - so being related to one does mean related to the bloodline. My grandmother new nothing of the contraversey swirling around. In fact, of the people she said we should be the most ashamed of was this person called Charlamange. I had a good laugh over that one. When I got ahold of the geneology myself, I started typing  in names, and found a stunning fact. Someone had traced Princess Diana's Merovingian connections. Our line followed hers till about around 1620, when one sister married and immiagrated to America,  and another sister stayed in England, forming the rest of Princess Diana's line. I have been dying to talk to some of my cousins in Washington State wondering if they have heard of the family geneology and the contraversey surrounding it. When researching our line I ran into numerous crazies insisting that a living Meravingn line probably through Charlamagne existed in America, that we we some type of alien lizard, that the antichrist would come through this line, and that we should all be wiped out.Not good. There are too many crazies out there. I do not personally know any of my real cousins up in Washington. I come from the California branch. But to be face to face with that geneology is an awesome and very scary thing. I have been dying to talk to someone in the familiy. My grandmothers family had eight kids, so I have lots of cousins - real ones out there. I have been dying to ask, What do you think about this, and should we be worried. The geneologies are all online. If they really wanted too, the crazies could trace us. The geneology I saw, while going down every Merovingn king, going through the Carolingians though their marriages with the female Merovingnian royalty, then through Normandy into England , Edward, the Platengets and all of the Dukes de SInclair, and the Sinclair family brought me to a dead stop. I had just read the Da Vinci Code about three days before reading the family geneology.. It was pretty startling. No where in the geneology was Christ mentioned. I am Pentecoastal. The arguement that the AntiChrist might come through our line is a scary one. I have been dying to ask my cousins in Washington what they think about this. So trying not to leave any identifying clues, if you guys are out there, you will recognize who and what branch of the family this is coming from. What do you think about our families unbelievable geneology?Signed Notfat, just the opposite - those from the family will understand

Gods Gifts

There are so many (GIFTS) givin to man (A MAN) in the bible I don't know where to  start. I guess I'll start with ADAM He was given one of the greatests gifts I can imagine. He was givin the GIFT of this world and every thing in it. That includes all life forms on this planet EVERY ANIMALS THAT WALKS OR CRAWLS ON THIS EARTH,OR IN IT,ALL THE THINGS THAT FLY,ALL THE THINGS THAT SWIM IN OUR LAKES,RIVERS,STREAMS,AND OCEANS. EVEN THE MINERALS IN THE EARTH. Every one still with me, good. Now wat was the point of GOD putting MAN over the earth? Not to EXPLOIT them. Not to DESTROY them but to NUTURE and PROTECT them. How many species of plant and animals have man complety removed from our earth? Want to talk about SIN here's a good place to start. I can not and will not cast stones, I AM A SINNER ALSO.

There are great gifts and great powers given to man,JESUS knew this. Of course he had first hand expireance.

It's all there in the Bible. I wonder why Main Stream Relgion does't also teach us this.

I have found these gifts and you will to IF you look for them.

I could tell you story after story the things I have seen and done, but you would call me insane.

I have done this because I know I'm not the only one who sees these things.

There you are GC I brought it out in the open,Lets see what happens. ∞

what exactly

anon,

Like the sentiment of your post but You brought WHAT out into the open?

And don't forget, lots of animals/plants became extinct long before man ever appeared on this earth. It would be nice if we could be smarter about our place in nature though. But have not fear, nature will eventually bring everything back into balance....it might just not include humans.

I do not usually do this so

I do not usually do this so excuse my ignorance of blogs. My ancestory is through Louis I and on down through the Franks and Grail Kings. As I am certain you know Jesus is only listed as a possible father not as the father of Justus. While I have no problem being from Mary M. I truly doubt that Jesus was her husband. I find it makes more sence to consider Joseph of Arimathaea. One point of logic to this debate is when would he have had the time to marry? and another is why was the wedding not mentioned? For sake of argument lets say that Jesus and Mary where together. Since Jesus's body was fully human and He received all his biological DNA from Mary, there still would be nothing unique about us. God existes as spirit not flesh, that part that was wholly God would not have been pased on through biological processes. Thats my opinion anyway. No matter the truth we are still long distance cousins!

Holy Blood - Mary's DNA?

I hope this does not offend anyone however I must say that the real important thing I have found is that it is more important to know who Jesus Christ is more than who we are.  It is written - Jesus Christ is the WORD.  Does anyone here read His word?

It is written that when he left Mary and Joseph only to be found by them speaking and teaching the Rabbis in the temple about His word to bring them back to the truth.  The Jews as a nation of people were chosen as His original Bride but they chose to be part of His general purpose not His Divine Purpose.  Remember - He told Mary that she was not His mother.

God Himself chose to come to earth here in human flesh as Jesus Christ and chose Mary to bring Himself into the world by divine conception which means that God Himself created the egg and the sperm in her womb.  The ancient line comes through Abraham.  This is even written in the ancient Hebrew texts by revelation of His word to the people.  Mary was a type of the Bride of Christ who lives now in this end time by faith.  And such is Mary Magdalene whom Jesus loved and she bears Him in her heart and lives by faith.

This nation - the United States was founded upon these precepts to bring forth the revelation of who He Is so He could restore His family - that last of the lost tribes of Isreal (which means His Word).  He rose in the east and came to the west and has returned with His word back to the east again in which He is gathering His own by revelation.

There is more - the lies that are being told by the media, by their false movies about the Holy Grail and the Divinci Code and countless others - using the Holy family of Christ in contempt so people can be distracted against His word of who He is and why He created us and draw attention to themselves to claim His lineage through Mary Magdalene.  How could anyone have such irreverence?

I too am of the Holy Family and I have received much prophecy from God as others of His family have.  It's truly about Him for we wait for Him to deliver us and bring us home.  We are hidden in Him.  Remember what Jesus said to Pontius Pilote?  His kingdom is not of this world and He gave respect to authority (render unto Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar).  He told Pontius Pilot that His kingdom is not of this world and He came to save His family.

When I get word from Jesus Christ I check with His word and He always addresses me as daughter of Abraham.  He backs up His word.  Trace your lineage not from Mary Magdalene but from the faith of our father Abraham and the promise of God to Abraham's children by the word of Jesus Christ (whom God is) and on whom we believe.

Seek Jesus Christ first and all these things shall be added unto you.  His resurrection which shall save you.

All the lies come from christians like you!!!!

I hate to be the one to break your heart but I will tell you this. The Di Vinci code does speak the truth. If all of you actually understood what you are reading in the bible you would know that it is true. Jesus and Mary Magdalene are twin souls and yes they were very married. They also had a child named Sarah. Just like today they are married and have brought forth a child. Yes if you think that these two people have not been reborn and are walking the earth today then you are very ignorant. You think God is a man who sit up in heaven looking down on you making decisions for you and everyone else on this planet. I laugh at your stupidity. You are so full of shit when it comes to this subject. Do you even know what the Sacred Heart of Jesus is or what is means? I bet not. Well, let me tell you. It means nothing more than to follow your heart and not to judge others. The souls who are Jesus, Mary and Sarah are walking the earth today and soon they will show you and the rest of the world who they are and tell you what life is actually about. Then you will have a choice to make. Change your ways or get locked away with all the other souls that are not worthy to continue walking on this earth. The second advent is coming soon!!!!

Re: All the lies...

Whoa there, friend... no need to lose your temper.  I can see that you strenuously disagree with the other poster, but I felt the other poster shared her or his view with the utmost tact and respect and he or she surely deserves the same from you.  I'm sure you'll agree that Jesus would think the poster deserves kind treatment.  If we truly are to follow our hearts and not judge others, then indeed let us judge no one and be blameless on that day you look forward to with such zeal.

Re: Holy Blood

Well, friend... "irreverence" is a relative term.

I think most people who take the time to peruse this site realize that I mean absolutely no disrespect to Christ or to any aspect of the Divine for that matter.  I think most people who take the time to look around also figure out that I'm not really about drawing attention to myself.  I take some pains, after all, to obscure my identity.  I'm not here to mislead or misguide anyone.  I simply regard the notion that we all might be descended from Christ as a thrilling one.  And while I do have fun with the idea, for me this doesn't diminish its glorious quality or its sacredness.  If it offends you, however, I can only assure you that such was not my intention.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us.  I hope you will, in fact, take some time to read other things on this site and post more insights.

Holy Blood

I again would not want to offend anyone but I as a descendent of Holy Blood and as a cousin have traced my roots as well.  I am Scottish and my family comes from the old Scotland and Norse from seven kingdoms called Pictish.  I was taught many of the old ways that were passed down including the stories of the Bride of Christ and Mary Magdalene.  My family came through the wilderness in the great perusia and they carried the stone of destiny (Jacobs stone) with them.  They became masons and templars that died as martyrs to protect the truth so what remained would not be destroyed.  Many of these things are lost to us according to current media and the infiltration of lies throughout the lands and the invasions of other religions for power and control through out history because they wanted to own it.  The old documents and scriptures that were taken out that spoke of Jesus and His love for Mary Magdalene and His miracles.  The great library in Alexandria that was destroyed by the Romans when Cleopatra reigned.  Many of those records were taken out and disbursed throughout Europe to France and to Germany which were also destroyed (read about what happened to Nastradaumus and what Hitler did.  And knowing that Jesus Christ came as prophesied makes Him more to me than a grandfather.  If we are all descendents of Him, then we are all children of the great promise.  There are few but some records hidden in northern Europe and I know they are very protected.  I believe that Jesus was more than just a mere man.  He is the Christ.  What He suffered was beyond anything that anyone has ever been able to go through.  He did die and was resurrected and Mary did live in secret.

So rejoice and Hello Cousins.

Sabrina

Re: Holy Blood

Howdy to you, Cousin!  Thanks for the interesting comment! Smile

Re: I do not usually do this so

Well, certainly 'ol Joseph is often mentioned as a possible husband to Granny Maggie, and usually this is followed by the assertion that this union still allows descendants to trace back to King David, and that's not too shabby.  So, to anyone who takes that route, more power to you! Laughing

But since I obviously get a huge kick out of thinking Jesus is my Grandpappy, let me address a few of your points. Wink

As to your question regarding when Grandpappy would have had time to get married, please allow me to point out that the Gospels hardly cover every second of Grandpappy's admittedly short life.  It doesn't even cover every minute of his few years of public ministry.  And what was he doing, really, that prevented him from being married? He traveled around, talked to folks.  His wife and kids couldn't tag along? It wasn't as though he was starting a small business or running a country, but even small business owners and politicians often manage to get married and have kids.

As for why the wedding wasn't mentioned in Scripture... well, of course some people think it was mentioned.  Many believe that the wedding feast of Cana was Grandpappy's own wedding, and I think there is some pretty compelling evidence to support this idea.  But let's even say that wasn't His wedding.  Is it really so odd that the wedding wasn't mentioned? Here's what I think is a more compelling question:  If He belonged to a sect that required a vow of celibacy, why is that not mentioned? Given customs at the time, if He didn't have a family He probably would have needed a compelling reason for that to be the case.  In other words, He'd almost have to have been either married OR part of a celibate sect.  And what kind of detail is more likely to slip mention by the Gospel writers:  a commonplace detail such as "Jesus was married", or a relatively unusual detail such as "Jesus belonged to a celibate sect"?

Of course, I think your comments suggesting that the descendents of Jesus have no special attributes or powers is right on the money (as I also assert in my FAQ).  I think one reason people get freaky about claims of descending from Christ is because they think the claimant intends to lord the point over others (no pun intended).  But the truth is, there's nothing to lord over.  It's just a cool thing to say about your ancestry, like being related to Charlemagne.  Although, admittedly, MUCH cooler. Cool

As you say, though, no matter how one looks at it, we're still cousins, so howdy to you!  I'm always thrilled to meet family.  Thanks for making yourself known! Laughing

And thanks for writing!  I'm interested to hear more of your thoughts if you'll be so kind as to share them.

Did Jesus need a wedding?

Jesus was and is a King.  Study history.  If you want answers study the history of the Jews (Isrealites).  Their wedding ceremonies existed in the privacy of their homes when a man would chose a wife and he went to the home of her father and requested of her father her hand in marriage.  Upon consent the man was left alone with the daughter who was aloud consent.  If she consented, it was sealed with a glass of wine.  At that time she became his bride and was considered married.  The man would return to his father's house to build a home for his wife.  He knew not when he would return to fetch his bride as the home he would build had to be approved by his father.  When his father was satisfied, he would tell his son to fetch his bride.  She knew not when and neither did he but they would remain faithful to each other.  Upon that time that he came to get her, it could be in the middle of the night......but she had to be ready.  When he did come for her, the people would shout and wake everyone to escort them.  He would bring her to the home he built for her and there they would consumate their marraige, and vows and love.  No ceremony came before other than with the father, the bridegroom and his bride in the privacy of her home.  Celebration came after three days after the consumation of marraige.

Read what Jesus said about the virgins and having their lamps lit.

After all, He is the Christ is He not?

Re: Did Jesus need a wedding?

Interesting! Smile

If it's true, I'm also descended from Jesus!

I've traced back online all the way to Adam and Eve. I'm directly descended from Noah through Shem.

Now, I believe Jesus lived. I believe he had a message. One you may have heard about lately that is being touted as "the secret" on Oprah, Larry King, online, etc. The Law of Attraction. It's the theory that like attracts like. Do good and good happens to you. I believe this is true. It has worked for me. No, I'm not rich...but I'm comfortable and though I sometimes struggle month to month, all of my needs have always been met. I never worry about money. Even if it looks bleak. Something happens to put me back on top.

What I am going to say next is controversial...some may say blasphemous, but--Jesus was merely a man. Did he call himself a God? I don't think so. If he did, he meant it in an abstract way in that we are all God--We are all connected. The religion born from his legacy came about decades after his death. Could have been a plot to bastardize "the message." I don't believe he performed miracles. Christianity came about and made the Jesus myth the message. Probably for nefarious reasons. Do you think the elites want the lowly masses to discover the truth?

Fascinating times we're living in. Fear no evil...stand up to it. We are probably all related...and the mysteries of who we are, where we came from are being revealed to us in increments but rather quickly in these days of open worldwide communication. The bad guys are scared. :)

Re: If it's true...

Howdy, Cousin!  Thanks for stopping by!

I, too, have heard of "the secret" and find quite a bit of truth in it.  Not much of a secret, though... its essential message has been taught by nearly every culture since culture began!  (But, of course, you already knew that. Smile)

As for whether or not Grandpappy was "just a man", I have to say that I'm with the Apostle Paul on that score.  But I certainly can relate to those who hold that Grandpappy was not divine.  Sometimes I think folks like you have a better grasp on what Grandpappy was all about than the divinity folks do.

But either way, the important thing is we're cousins (and aren't we all?) and I think that's just awesome! Laughing

Sick

you guys are really sick.... r u nut?

Re: Sick

Nope.  Feelin' good.  Thanks for asking! Smile

That was my post above

frankly, i don't think grandad would be so vain as to think himself "divine." I truly believe he was a righteous man, but that scriptures were written in such a way to keep hidden secret truths that would be detrimental to the human powers that be.

the so-called "illuminati" appear to me to be a satanic line. i'm not a "conspiracy theorist," but rather a conspiracy realist. I'm not crazy, just know too much.

google franklin cover-up...it's spooky and true. i live in Omaha and know people connected who have confirmed...one of those being my own husband. grandad is not pleased.

Re: That was my post above

I did look up the Franklin cover-up and I have to agree... Grandpappy would certainly not be pleased. Frown My prayers go out to the victims.
