Subject

This archetype represents the person who has chosen to be the quintessential follower. Loyal to a fault, acting only when called upon to act, and by-and-large doing precisely what she-or-he is told. The Subject is not necessarily stupid or lazy. There are moments in everyone’s lives when the Subject is called for, such as when one is a soldier on the battlefield.

Obviously, though, invoking the Subject for long periods of time can be detrimental. While having a dominant ego causes misery, killing the ego is not the answer. When the Subject overstays its welcome, a person can find she-or-he is lost without the direction of others, all but completely incapable if independent thought.
