Anybody notice...

If you caught the enhanced version of "There's No Place Like Home" you may have noticed that they changed the press conference information tht Jack provided. I posted some inconsistencies I found last week between that press conference and Jack's testimony at Kate's Trial. This week they altered what he said to include three survivors who had died (specifically he states that Boone & Libby both died of their injuries, and Charlie drowned shortly before they found the raft.) I'd really like to know if that scene was recently shot following viewers picking up on the conflict or if that was planned as part of the "extra" material to be provided in the enhanced versions.

Anyone catch any other changes?

Boone, Libby & Charlie

I don't have any responses on the inconsistencies front, Jukin, but Prof and Agent were telling me 'bout those details from the enhanced version and got me thinking-why those three, and is there some relation to who is and isn't in visions. First, why do the three have to be people who have actually died (why not Sawyer, Rose & Bernard). And then why those three (and not Ana Lucia or Mr. Eko)--is it important for someone on the mainland to know for certain that these three are dead? And then that got me thinking that Libby and Charlie are two of the three dead people who have shown up in visions on the mainland. They haven't been in visions on the island. The only one who appears both on island and off is Christian. I have no idea what this means. I'm just noticing the pattern.

Boone, Libby & Charlie..

Yes, we noticed, but what does it mean?

Jukin and everyone; according to Lostpedia, this was the deleted scene from 4:12, part one.  Why was it originally deleted and what does it mean?  It's interesting to note, with the exception of the details of Libby's death, Jack was "sort of" truthful regarding Boone and Charlie's death.

I think it was originally deleted because...

... right after Jack says all of that a reporter asks Sun if her husband survived the crash.  Well... Jack just... sorta answered that question by revealing the identities of ALL of the initial survivors, so... it seemed odd for Sun to be asked that question.

I suppose when they put it back we're just supposed to assume the reporter who asked Sun the question didn't understand Jack... the reporter asked Sun the question in Korean.

Still, though... it was an awkward scene to put back in.  Why they decided to put it back in the enhanced version of the episode, I don't know.

I STRONGLY disagree Prof!!!

I think the writers, the producers and the executives at ABC and Bad Robot are trolling this site, reading our comments and revising the show based on our collaborative efforts. There's no doubt about it - JIMGP influences the Lost world!! Yeah baby!!! Wink
