This author suggests a Fisheries Revolution preceded the Agricultural Revolution. I find this idea interesting. Thoughts?

Makes sense to me. Fits with the kind of amazing navigational skills of the Pacific Islanders.
I don't know if this fits at all but I remember reading this a long time ago (maybe in Desmond Morris--"The Naked Ape"?)--the idea that humans had less body hair than other primates because at some point in evolution they had spent a lot of time in water.
