OK, I admit it...

... I don't want "nuclear apocalypse" to be Earth's fate.  I just... can't accept it.

This is what I want to happen...

I want us to find out that Starbuck's ship triggered the tragic events on Earth, and I want her to have an opportunity to change it.  (This must be possible, right? I mean, she was somehow zapped to Earth to begin with... some funny things with space and time are going on there... surely it can happen again.)  I want her to go back to when Apollo was telling her to "pull up" out of her dive before her crash and I want her to comply this time.  And then I want the paradox to snap everything back to the very first scenes of the show where Six shows up at the negotiations outpost and instead of it being destroyed, Six tells the human representative that they would like to embark on a joint mission to Earth so that the Twelve Colonies can be reunited with the Thirteenth.  And then the new "Caprica" show can just be about the Thirteen Colonies with humans learning to live with "skin jobs" and no devastating war at all.

*sigh*

I just really hate that Earth is just a cinder.

Well,...

the earth wasn't a cinder...our earth anyway.

Otherwise, I like your ending better.

So...

Does anyone know how Starbuck ended up on desolate earth?  I thought she and her viper exploded in space.

Saving Earth

I can see maybe the first part happening but not the second?  It just seems like too happy an ending that they'd get a do-over of everything.  Kara is the key though--seems like she's probably a hybrid?  Daniel's daughter?  And this is where her artistic skills and the tie in to visions comes from.  They do have to explain the dead Kara on earth and maybe what you suggest above could do that.
